Winery Review: A
classic blend of Shiraz and Grenache, with the raspberries, blackcurrant,
lliquorice and spice characteristics of the Shiraz complementing the upfront
cherry and cola flavors of the Grenache. The balanced wine offers earthy tones,
strawberry aromas and vibrant acidity.
My Review: This
wine had an aroma like candied cherries and roses, very floral. The wine was very dry and soft, with heavy
tannins and a smooth finish. The wine
had characteristics of raspberries, cherries, black pepper and earth. I enjoyed this wine but if I had it in the
future I would pair it with some cheese
to soften the tannic components.
